Boris Johnson Announcing Strict New Curbs


PM Johnson has announced strict curbs on life in the UK in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

People may only leave home for urgencies such as to travel to and from work where “absolutely necessary”, to exercise once a day, to shop for essential items, and to fulfil any medical or care needs.

He is telling retailers which are selling non-essential goods to shut down and has told public that gatherings of more than two people are prohibited.

People who will not follow the new rules can expect fines, the Prime Minister said in a statement.
